We have another winner interview for you! Marcss19, a representative of Masterminds, shared his personal experiences in R-Planet. Concise and engaging, he talks about the tricky moves and sophisticated strategies used by the winners.
Which buildings do you construct and upgrade first?
When the game begins, I upgrade the level of the mines and the Nexus to reach level 10. This way, I can build the expansion hub and establish another base once I reach level 10 and produce the Settler.
What is your step-by-step strategy during the game?
I believe this question is quite personal, and each individual should adapt their playstyle and alliance role based on the time they can dedicate to the game. Some jobs may not allow you to check your mobile phone for hours, which can be dangerous during times of war. I am still alive in Alpha 2 with WarBoarz, and I cannot reveal our strategy as it could endanger myself and my fellow alliance members. You have to be a boar or a very skilled spy to know certain things haha.
How many Starter packs have you used during Alpha 2, and which asset from the pack is your favorite?
I didn’t use all the NFTs but I opened 12 packs. Minerals and “Finish Now” are very important at the beginning of the game.
Do you have any secret tricks that you use to solve some gameplay matters in a nonstandard way?
It’s a secret for a reason😎.
Has the game ever kept you from getting a restful sleep? Why and what happened that night?”
There have been some nights where I’ve launched attacks that arrive early in the morning for my opponents. Perhaps they have countered in the middle of the night…it’s all part of the game. However, when you have an active shield, you can sleep soundly knowing that you’re protected. In my experience, it’s important to strike a balance between playing the game and taking care of oneself by getting adequate rest and sleep.
If you belong to any alliance, how are the roles and tasks divided among the players?
In the alliance the roles of each member vary based on their level of involvement, available time, and preferred style of gameplay. Some players are more inclined towards offensive strategies while others focus on defense and support. It’s important to have a balance of different types of players in order to be successful as a team.
Name a few specific situations in which one faction’s troops would perform better than the troops of others.
To build bases under the opponent’s nose, warriors with one more builder can build a new base faster.
Do you use any outside assets entered into the game to resolve some problems or increase productivity?
I have 23 lands.
Please recall the most massive or sophisticated attack operation you took part in and tell us a few words about it.
In WarBoarz I belong to the Spanish “Mafia”.
We are a group of Spanish viewers of the streamer and member ilPadrino and we have been playing separately since the beginning of RPlanet and now as a team.
Apart from R-Planet, in the days when everything was joy, we invested in all the drops that appeared on the WAX blockchain. Each attack we do is usually massive and coordinated between us while collaborating with the rest of the members. Some victims who will read this know what I’m talking about.
Please tell us about the most massive attack operation aimed at your bases. How was it?
One of the most epic defenses was destroying big player Firestorm’s entire attack when he belonged to another alliance. There was not a full collaboration between the members that is essential to be able to win the battles. It was actually an attacking play. I put a new base “Blackhole” in front of that alliance’s cluster and only it and a few others attacked. The base was a trap because we filled it with defensive troops that all the members sent. It was fun to monitor the consumption of wecanite during those hours. It ended with Firestorm’s parting with their alliance.
Do you destroy buildings if you need additional foundations? If so, which buildings do you destroy first?
I like to destroy the base completely in one attack.
What is the best way to organize an attack aimed at destroying the base?
♟ The best way is to confuse the opponent and not know where you attack. So he has to decide which base to defend.
What is the best way to organize an attack aimed at capturing the base?
My experience is negative in this regard. Other people ended up destroying the base first.
Which skills would you recommend training on the playground servers?
Manage to balance the production of troops in the bases according to their consumption and the use of mineral support bases for the main army.
Name three features that you would like to see in the game, currently undeveloped ones.
Nowadays, in Spain, for example, it is very important that the game can be streamed on Twitch or on the Theta.tv blockchain platform where the Spanish “mafia” joined ilpadrino so that communities can participate by watching their leader play. It would be amazing to get to see the best streamers playing R-Planet with their alliances.
I would also like to have a wildcard rest for a few days. Alpha2 is very hard.
Finally I’m looking forward to seeing new servers much more intense and short duration with great rewards.
