R-Planet: Essential Events of 2022 and Plans for 2023 and Beyond
This year, full of unexpected challenges and incredible achievements, left behind an indelible trace in our hearts and memories. For all the members of the R-Planet community, 2022 is the year when the R-Planet game reached its final phase and became an MMO game app.
We continued working tirelessly to develop the project adding value to our products. The team considers this winter within the ecosystem as a great environment for developing the project and making it ready to bloom when the time comes.
We are very grateful to you and the rest of our amazing community, for your support and cooperation in making R-Planet better. Today, along with summarizing the previous year, we are going to announce the Roadmap for 2023 and reveal the date of the Open Alpha launch.
Chronicles of the R-Planet in 2022
Before revealing any future plans, we welcome you to remember with us all the major events experienced on the R-Planet during the last year.
Staking Hub
Staking 2.0 was presented as a reformatted Staking System at the beginning of the year and listed 50 third-party WAX projects to the Staking Hub. In terms of Staking 2.0, NFTs of the top 21 projects, with the highest amount of Aether voted to them by users, were able to mine Aether. 25 000 000 Aether hourly was mined in the Staking Hub and distributed between stakes. Later we united the most active projects of the Staking Hub into the Ambassadors Club for their great contribution of sharing knowledge about the R-Planet within their communities and beyond.
The Community of RDAO Holders
The distribution of RDAO tokens started with an airdrop of 100K RDAO, for the most active players at the beginning of February 2022. RDAO is the token of R-DAO, a Decentralized Autonomous Organization of the R-Planet metaverse, which consists of members who own said tokens. They will be able to vote using them in the future, helping to continue to shape the landscape of the R-Planet. Also, RDAO tokens allow their holders to get a portion of future R-Planet sales and income.
After the launch of the R-Planet Governance 1 500 K RDAO was sold to the community for Aether during the RDAO Auctions. Also, 500 K RDAO has been distributed through pools for adding liquidity on the Metafarming Tab. RDAO holders already had a chance to get revenue from the project. 4 032 BOX and 17 144 550 000 Aether already have been distributed among RDAO holders. If you have some RDAO, remember to keep them staked on the R-Planet Metafarming tab so as to not to miss the next pool.
Folding of the Evacuation phase
With the Conquest Phase fast approaching, the team took a few steps to fold off the Evacuation Phase. The Aether general supply was cut from 10 trillion to 1.5 trillion, in order to keep the value and to meet future use cases.
The inventor party and an option to burn the mining rigs, in exchange for an amount of Aether equal to 3 months of Aether mining power, were two more important steps in folding up this first phase of the R-Planet saga.
R-Planet: Conquest Closed Alpha Launch
By far and away the most key event of last year was the launch of the R-Planet Conquest Alpha. The number of testers was limited, so tickets for the closed Alpha were only available through a lottery. Tickets were purchased in Æether, providing another use case and sink for the token. On September 22, 790 players entered the game to fight not for life, but for death. The testing ended in 65 five days with 100 winners, and ten super killers rewarded.
Thanks to the active cooperation of players, we managed to launch improved versions of Conquest during the Alpha, making the R-Planet game more convenient as well as launching many new features.
Playground server
The Playground server has been launched as a training camp for all the players. There are no winners or prizes, and not many rules, yet you’ll be able to get the battle skills necessary to be successful during the next stage of Alpha.
European Innovation BNB Chain Incubator
In November, R-Planet was selected for the European Innovation BNB Chain Incubator. That was a great experience for the team, which brought us a great connection and helped to clarify out vision of future possibilities. We are considering an option of R-Planet development in both ecosystems (BNB and WAX chains) at the same time. We’ll announce our plan regarding this a bit later.
New year — New plans
The main goal for the next year is to finalize the application in its entirety and how it has been designed. We’ll start the next year with a launch of the R-Planet Open Alpha which is scheduled on January 27. Get ready!

The WECAN Dev team are moving into the next year with great excitement and even more grandiose plans.
