While all of us are looking forward to the Open Alpha launch, uniting friends into alliances, and counting helpful NFTs tucked away in our wallets, let’s remember that we’re entering a new milestone of the R-Planet evolution.
We used those couple of months of pause between the servers not only to improve existing functions but also to develop new functionality. Here we’ll discuss the main features which differ from closed Alpha to Alpha2.
Alpha 2 is open to everyone
The most important thing is that Alpha 2 is open to everyone who wants to join. Players do not need to know what NFTs are or how to use them. No blockchain experience necessary at all! So, you can welcome any of your friends to play with you.
Players need to take just a few simple steps to join the game:
- Download the app;
- Get registered with a Google or iOS account;
- Choose Alpha2 server;
- Enter the game when it starts, and be among 3000 first participants.
Bigger map
The Alpha map is much bigger than the previous one. Its map is 100x100 plots and contains 3000 plots with initial characteristics, which can be taken by new players. Wow!
Limit of Robot NFT activating
Unlimited Robot NFT activating in the Closed Alpha caused the phenomenon of huge armies of Quasimodos, Chads, and Boberts attacking all at once; brought imbalance to the game and terrorized players with no robot assets.
So, in the Alpha2 and further versions, the number of Robot NFTs that users can inject daily will be strictly limited by the level of the Nexus on the player’s base.
With Nexus Lev1, the player will be able to activate one NFT with 50 robots per 24 h.
Nexus Lev5 — one NFT with 50 or 100 robots per day.
Nexus Lev10 — one NFT with 50, 100, or 250 robots per day.
Nexus Lev15 — one NFT with 50, 100, 250, or 500 robots per day
Nexus Lev20 — two NFTs with any number of robots.
Alliances
During the closed Alpha, players were uniting in unofficial unions to provide themself with allies and support because everyone understood that it’s hard to stand against so many all by themselves. In Alpha 2 alliances are cooked right in! The functionality of alliances in game allows every player to form or join a union of a maximum of 50 people and provides tools to manage it.

New NFTs
You’ll be able to use new kinds of one-time use NFTs from Starter Boxes, such as mineral injections, Finish Now, 24hr Protection Dome, and Extra Slots.
Minerals allow the player to get additional materials to the base.
Finish Now allows the player to finish the building or upgrading process instantly.
24hr Protection Dome secures all player’s bases from attacks.
An extra slot provides an additional foundation for a new building on the chosen base.
Manage new assets through Nexus or in the Asset Tab of the Settings Tab.
Please, remember to unpack your Starter Box before entering the needed NFT into the game to be able to use them.

Combat calculator
The Combat Calculator allows the player to forecast the results of a battle by entering all of their army’s data and the data of their enemies’ armies.
Displaying of player’s medals
Players of the Closed Alpha will be able to view earned medals in their accounts and brag about them to other players.
In-game chat
No more third-party messengers are needed to stay in touch with allies or have negotiations with enemies. In-game chat will allow you to connect and have a conversation with any other player.
Spanish and Ukrainian
We translated R-Planet into two more languages, Spanish and Ukrainian. You are welcome to use them while playing R-Planet.
The Open Alpha server will be launched on 🤘 Friday, January 27 at 4 pm UTC. The registration will last until all the plots with initial mining characteristics are taken by new players or additional bases.
As you see, some features were developed earlier than have been announced, and some are behind schedule. We will be continually adding along the way as they become available.
We would like to wish you the best of luck!
See you on the battlefield!!
